LŐRINC BOROS (born 1985 in Budapest) is a Hungarian set and production designer. 2012 Graduated at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts / Production Designer Department.
While studying he has already served as a set designer for Hungarian theaters and films. 2009 he won the prize as a best set designer in the competition XXIX. OTDK (National Council of Student Research Societies, Budapest)
2009 - Recipient of a scholarship to Lisboa (PLATFORM 11+, European Artistic Theater Network)
2010 - Recipient of a scholarship to Istanbul (Erasmus Program, Mimar Sinan University, Scenography Depertment)
2012 - assistant production designer/set designer for the Silver Bear Winner motion picture “Just the Wind” by Bence Fliegauf.
2015 - art director for the East of West Award and FEDEORA Award Winner - Karlovy Vary International Film Festival - motion picture “The Wednesday Child” by Lili Horváth
In the last 15 years he has designed for several theatrical - opera and experimental performances at Hungarian theaters working with notable directors.
His work extends over a wide variety of areas including American and European film productions as well.
